in my dreams we're still screamin'

we're just a million little gods causin' rain storms

the cities we live in/could be distant stars/and I search for you/in every passing car

If anyone ever asks me about my childhood or the place I grew up, I will only tell them to listen to The Suburbs. And if I ever reach a point when I want to remember what it feels like to leave everything behind. To grow. To start over. To become someone older, whatever that means. I only have to play this album on loop to feel that painful but magnificent beauty.

If I could have it back
All the time that we wasted
I'd only waste it again
If I could have it back
You know I'd love to waste it again
Waste it again and again and again
